The walking routes organised by Yeronga Globe Trotters vary in length, ranging from 4 to 10 kilometres. They take participants to some stunning locations around Brisbane, including New Farm, Ascott, Moorooka, St Lucia University, Yeronga, and Stones Corner. So, get ready to discover new walking paths and enjoy the beauty of these areas.
If you're interested in joining, the group meets under the inviting shade of the mango tree at 16 Dublin St, Yeronga, 4104. It's a great chance to socialise with fellow walking enthusiasts and make new friends.
Now, let's talk about the timings. The Yeronga Globe Trotters have a schedule that changes throughout the year, adapting to the seasons and the best times to walk. From April to May, the walks kick off at a bright and early 6:30am. In June to August, however, they start a little later at 7am. As spring arrives in September to October, the walks go back to the 6:30am start time. And during the scorching summer months of November to March, the group gets an early start at 6am.
