Sensei Steve Cameron would like to extend a warm invitation to everyone in the sports community to join the Worcester Shotokan Karate Club. Affiliated with the International Japan Karate Association, and situated right here in Worcester, this inclusive club is open to beginners and experienced karateka alike, offering classes for anyone aged 12 to 50+.
Steve welcomes new students with open arms and the club holds dedicated beginners' classes throughout the year. These sessions make sure that newcomers receive clear and supportive instruction. Steve, a 4th Dan and experienced instructor, ensures a safe and friendly environment for all.
Karate at Worcester Shotokan is about more than just physical fitness – it's fun and engaging too. Training sessions are held every Tuesday and Thursday, and all karateka, regardless of skill level, are encouraged to attend. Classes are structured to match different ability levels, so there's always something to suit everyone.
Training takes place at the Platinum Hall on Church Road in Crowle and the Nunnery Wood Sports Complex on Spetchley Road in Worcester. Beginners and intermediates train from 7:00pm to 8:00pm, and seniors (5th Kyu and above) from 8:00pm to 9:00pm.
