Seaford Tigers Cricket Club is excited to announce that registrations for the Woolworths Blast program for the upcoming 2023/24 season are now open! This cricket program is the perfect opportunity for kids aged 5-7 who are new to cricket and want to have a blast on the field.
The Woolworths Junior Blasters program focuses on fun, game-based activities that help children develop their cricket skills. Our sessions are designed for small groups, ensuring that each child gets a chance to actively participate and learn new skills. Safety is our top priority, which is why we use plastic bats and a rubber ball, ensuring a secure environment for all participants. We also incorporate different sized balls, including blind cricket balls, allowing kids to progress at their own pace.
Each session is packed with engaging skills activities and friendly games of backyard cricket. We strongly encourage parents and caregivers to join in on the fun and spend quality time with their child while learning simple cricket skills together. Your involvement as a parent greatly impacts your child's enjoyment, skill progression, and overall achievement.
By registering for the Woolworths Junior Blasters program at Seaford Tigers, your child becomes part of the Blast Crew. Not only will they gain valuable cricket experience, but they will also receive a Blast kit and a complimentary Melbourne Stars or Renegades membership! This membership, valued at $59, grants access to eight thrilling W/BBL matches, offering unforgettable live cricket action.
For a registration fee of $99, your child will have access to 10 exciting Blast sessions throughout the season, along with the Blast pack, an end-of-season medal presentation, and a BBQ celebration. We want your child to feel like a true cricket star!
Participants should come dressed in their Junior Blasters shirt, which is included in the registration fee, along with a hat, comfortable shorts or pants, runners, and sunscreen. We want everyone to be comfortable and ready to enjoy their time on the field.
