From Monday to Friday, the pool is adults-only, but little ones under one year can join with their parents if arranged beforehand – just give Louisa a shout to organise this.

Private pool hire is available at £28 per hour for four swimmers, with an extra charge for additional bathers. Bookings can be made for up to six guests or for up to two hours. Keen to come regularly? Block book nine sessions and get one free!

Wood Lane Pool is open from 06:00 to 19:00, Monday to Friday. The pool is 9.5 metres long, 4.5 metres wide, and has depths of between 1.2 and 2.1 metres.
