The Little Athletics summer season kicks off in October and continues until mid-March. Every Saturday morning at 8.30am, Woden Thunder Athletics Club hosts meets where athletes can showcase their talent and learn from experienced coaches. The emphasis is on participation and learning the fundamental movements of athletics.
No matter the skill level, every athlete is welcome to join and try out various events. As kids progress, they have the exciting opportunity to explore additional events like triple jump and javelin. It's all about encouraging growth, development, and a love for athletics.
