Welcome to Witton Albion Junior Football Club (Witton Albion JFC), an established 3-star England Football Accredited Club located in Northwich, Cheshire. Our club caters to children aged 4 to 18, with a Soccer School for the younger kids and teams from Under 7s to Under 18s. We also have Girls' Teams participating in the Cheshire Girls League.
We take part in various competitions, including the Cheshire District FA Cup and the Cheshire County Cup. The game formats differ for boys and girls. The younger boys' teams play mini-soccer with 5 v 5, while the Under 9s and Under 10s play 7 v 7, and the Under 11s and Under 12s play 9 v 9. From Under 13s onwards, our teams play 11 v 11.
For girls, the game formats range from 5 v 5 for Under 9s to 11 v 11 for the older age groups.
Being England Football Accredited means that we are part of a movement to create better environments for players, coaches, and volunteers, promoting diversity and inclusivity in football. We appreciate the support of parents, relatives, and friends who contribute to the running and improvement of our club. Our dedicated team managers and coaches devote their time to organising games and training sessions. Any assistance offered is always welcomed and appreciated.
As a club, we strive to maintain high behavioural expectations from our managers, coaches, players, and spectators. We are constantly looking for ways to improve our operations, and we value suggestions from our members and the wider community. To join one of our teams, reach out to the relevant team officials for more information. If you're interested in becoming an official, please contact the club Secretary or Chairman.
We form new teams at the start of summer, particularly in the early age groups. For inquiries regarding new teams, please get in touch with the club Secretary. Our current season affiliation number is Y-CHE4917.
We regularly provide match reports and news updates on our social media and club directories. Our latest match report showcased an impressive victory for our Under 16 Girls Warriors team against Cheshire Blades. We also have upcoming fixtures for all our teams that you can view.
Moreover, we are proud to be participating in the Silent Support Weekend, joining other clubs in showing our support through actions rather than words. Additionally, we are actively seeking new players for certain teams, so if you or someone you know is looking for a team, we encourage you to get in touch.
Lastly, we currently have a Club Secretary vacancy, and we're searching for a new Secretary to take over from our current one. If you're interested in this role, please reach out to us.
Together, we are Witton Albion JFC, and we strive to provide a nurturing and enjoyable football experience for children of all ages and abilities. Join us in building a strong and inclusive community through the beautiful game.
