MiST | Meet in Silent Truth with Iri, a Yoga club in London, is organising a Winter Holding Yoga event. This soulful immersion of yoga, introspection, and Yoga Nidra MindRest on Zoom is the perfect way to relax and rejuvenate at the end of a long weekend, accompanied by a beautiful playlist.
The January sessions of Winter Holding Yoga are dedicated to the importance of taking care of our physical, emotional, and mental well-being during the short winter days. It's a time to tend to ourselves with great love and self-care. You can join Iri every Sunday at 5pm London time from the comfort of your own home for a sound-infused journey of yoga, meditative self-inquiry, and deeply restful yoga nidra.
To participate, simply register in advance for the Zoom meeting. You can book a session monthly pack for £12 per session or £40 for a pack of 5 sessions and their recordings. MiST understands that some may be facing financial struggles, but they wholeheartedly welcome you to join without making a contribution.
Wondering what to expect during this online practice? The session will begin with a well-rounded yoga practice to help you connect with your body and shift from doing to being mode. This practice aims to help you embody the different parts of the inquiry. Each week, there will be a different suggestion for a meditative self-inquiry, allowing you to explore and investigate different aspects of yourself. Sometimes, this process may be pleasant, and at other times, it may be more challenging. However, it is always rewarding.
The session will then transition into a longer than usual guided relaxation called yoga nidra. During this time, you will allow your conscious mind to rest and be open to all experiences. It's a deeply restful practice that provides immense relaxation and restoration.
For this online practice, it is recommended to have a yoga mat, although it is not essential. Additionally, you may want to have a pen and paper, a blanket, and anything else that will support your seat and make you feel extra comfortable.
