
MiST | Meet in Silent Truth with Iri, the Yoga club in London, is delighted to invite you to join their Winter Holding Yoga, Self-discovery and Yoga Nidra MindRest event. This soulful immersion of yoga, introspection, and sweet rest is designed to take care of your physical, emotional, and mental well-being during the short winter days.
Every Sunday at 5pm London time, you can join this event from the comfort of your own home via Zoom. With a beautiful playlist accompanying the session, it promises to be a sound-infused journey of yoga, meditative self-inquiry, and deeply restful yoga nidra.
To participate, it is necessary to register in advance for the Zoom meeting. MiST offers two booking options: a monthly pack for £12 per session or £40 for a pack of 5 sessions, including their recordings. However, if you are currently experiencing financial difficulties but still wish to join, you are more than welcome without contributing.
During the session, you can expect to begin with a well-rounded yoga practice, allowing you to connect with your body and shift from “doing” to “being” mode. This practice aims to help you explore different aspects of yourself through meditative self-inquiry. Each week, a different suggestion for the inquiry will be provided, which may bring both pleasant and not-so-pleasant experiences, but ultimately prove rewarding.
Following the yoga practice, there will be a longer-than-usual guided relaxation called yoga nidra. This period of time allows your conscious mind to rest and enables you to fully embrace the present moment.
To prepare for the online practice, it is recommended that you have a yoga mat (although not essential), pen and paper, a blanket, and anything else that will make you feel comfortable and supported throughout the session.
