Are you the owner of Wing Chun Melbourne?

Is of the highest standard. Our lineage consists of Grandmaster Michael Tse, the most senior student of GM Ip Chun in the West, and Master Darryl Moy, the Chief instructor of the Tse Qigong Centre.
At Wing Chun Melbourne, we prioritise creating a relaxed, friendly, and safe atmosphere for all of our students. We believe that Wing Chun is suitable for people of all ages, fitness levels, and genders. As a short-distance Chinese martial art, Wing Chun is intelligent, practical, and fast. It is tremendously beneficial to both mental and physical health, and it is an extremely effective self-defence skill.
In our classes, you will learn a variety of skills and techniques. This includes the three empty hand forms of Wing Chun - Siu Lim Tao, Tsum Kiu, and Biu Tze. Each form focuses on different aspects of your skills and helps shape and define the stages of your training. Additionally, you will learn the importance of footwork in fighting while staying safe.
Good footwork is essential in following Wing Chun principles and avoiding your opponent's strength.
We also incorporate Chi Sau, which means “Sticking Hands,” into our training. Chi Sau is Wing Chun's answer to training together without getting hurt or hurting your partner. It helps develop your abilities and sensitivity, allowing you to use the right skills and timing to overcome your opponent. Furthermore, you will learn various hands and movements that can be practised with a partner, enhancing your ability to respond naturally and accurately in different situations.
The benefits of practising Wing Chun are numerous. It helps you stay calm under pressure, promotes physical well-being, enhances mental acuity, and provides you with a fantastic self-defence skill. What distinguishes Wing Chun from other martial arts is its practicality and suitability for everyone, regardless of age or fitness level.
In accordance with traditional Chinese values, our classes at Wing Chun Melbourne are conducted with safety and health as the top priority. Grandmaster Michael Tse emphasises the positive contribution martial arts can make to society and aims to promote personal growth and happiness through correct training.
At Wing Chun Melbourne, we are proud of our lineage, which directly connects us to Grandmaster Ip Man through his eldest son, GM Ip Chun. The skills we teach have been passed down through generations, ensuring the highest standard of instruction. We have a strong relationship with our teachers, grandteachers, as well as Wing Chun practitioners worldwide. We organise annual trips and special events to visit and train with fellow Wing Chun enthusiasts.
