Welcome to Winchmore Hill Bowls Club, a friendly sports club located in North London. With over 200 members, both playing and social, our club offers a warm welcome to players of all standards and abilities. Whether you are a seasoned bowler or just starting out, you will find a supportive community at Winchmore Hill Bowls Club.
Our club boasts six full-length rinks and is known for having one of the best greens in North London. We actively compete in the Finchley & District Bowls Association and in local club leagues. We also have a full programme of internal and interclub friendly league matches and competitions. The playing season runs from mid-April to the end of September, providing ample opportunity to get involved and showcase your skills.
Every Wednesday and Friday evening, we have 'roll ups' where members can come together for practise and friendly games. It's a fantastic opportunity for new bowlers to meet other players, develop their skills, and enjoy the camaraderie of the club. Whether you're a novice or an experienced bowler, you'll always find a warm welcome at our club nights.
If you prefer to join as a social member, we have a varied programme of events throughout the year. From social evenings to themed parties, there's something for everyone. Our spacious clubhouse features a fully-equipped kitchen, a bar, free Wi-Fi, and clean and modern changing facilities for both men and women. The clubhouse also has a patio area with seating and parasols, providing the perfect spot to relax and enjoy a drink while watching a match.
Conveniently, we have our own barrier-controlled car park with direct access to the club grounds, making it easy for members to come and enjoy their time at the club.
