Williamstown Bowling Club

Welcome to Williamstown Bowling Club, the oldest lawn bowls club in Victoria, founded in 1880. Located in central Williamstown, our club offers two immaculate lawn greens, a clubhouse, and a function room that can accommodate up to 100 people. Whether you're looking for a casual drink with friends, a social game, or competitive league play, our club has something for everyone.

We pride ourselves on being one of the friendliest clubs in Melbourne, with a proud history of over 140 years in the Williamstown community. We offer a variety of bowls experiences, including competitive pennant matches, tournaments, and social bowls. Our calendar is updated monthly with new events, so be sure to check for any changes.

Some of our upcoming events include Wednesday Social Bowls, Joker Jackpot Draw on Fridays, and Nominated Triplets on select Wednesdays. We are supported by our sponsors and offer a fully stocked bar (no BYO) and kitchen facilities for self-catering.

If you're looking for a fun outdoor activity for all ages, we highly recommend trying our Barefoot Bowls. You can either book a green for a private game or come and try it between 4 pm and 7 pm from Tuesday to Friday without a booking. It's a great way to enjoy some outdoor fun with family, friends, or workmates.

For those looking to host an event, our club is the ideal local venue. We can cater to various types of functions, whether it's during the week or weekends, subject to availability. Our function room can accommodate up to 80 seated guests, with a dance area and small stage. We have kitchen facilities for self-catering or the option to choose your own caterer.

Our fully stocked bar adds to the convenience of hosting your event with us.
