Welcome to the Williamstown Little Athletics Centre! Located in Melbourne, our sports club offers track and field programmes to children and teenagers aged 5 to 16. We are proud members of Little Athletics Victoria and have been operating since 1967, making us the ninth Centre to affiliate.
At Williamstown, we believe that Little Athletics is an excellent foundation sport for kids. Not only does it provide an opportunity for children to learn athletic skills, but it also helps improve their fitness, build confidence, and make new friends. With over 400 participants, we are dedicated to creating a supportive and inclusive environment for all young athletes.
Our track and field events are held from October to mid-March each year at the Newport Park Athletics track, conveniently located next to the Newport power station. We have a Saturday morning competition, with different age groups running at various times. The U6 age group starts at 8:30 am and finishes at approximately 9:30 am, while the U7-U8 age group runs from 8:30 am to 10:00 am. The U9-U17 age groups take place from 10:00 am until approximately 12:30 pm.
Additionally, we occasionally have midweek twilight meetings for those who are interested.

In order to stay up to date with all the latest information and announcements, we primarily use Team App to communicate with our members.
