With a strong emphasis on player development, Williams Landing Football Club offers a comprehensive programme for players of all ages and abilities. Our Mini Roos programme is designed for young people aged 6-11 and focuses on developing skills, technique, teamwork, and good behavioural values through fun and enjoyable participation experiences.
For junior boys aged 12-16, we have A Grade and B Grade teams that provide a competitive and supportive environment for players to enhance their skills, teamwork, and tactical understanding of the game. Our dedicated coaches and technical director work closely with these teams to ensure that each player receives the necessary guidance and support to thrive on and off the field.
We are proud to have a strong emphasis on the development of female football at Williams Landing Football Club. Our female programme stands alongside the boys programme and integrates Southampton FC's development curriculum. Our aim is to provide our female players with the best environment to learn, prosper, and achieve their true potential while having fun. We currently have approximately 115 female players at the club, ranging from U7s to U16s, as well as female coaches, committee members, and volunteers who have played vital roles in growing the girl's game.
As part of our commitment to the development of our club and enhancing the experience of women and girls in football, Williams Landing Football Club has been awarded 1 Star Certification as part of the Game Changer Club Development Programme by Football Australia. This star represents our dedication to improving the experiences of women and girls both on and off the field, and our commitment to building a welcoming and inclusive culture within our club. We are proud of the progress we have made and will continue working towards long-term viability and success.
