Established in May 2015 by Colin and Debbie Curtis, White House Farm Fishery offers a picturesque setting for a relaxing day of fishing for families and children alike.
In addition to fishing, White House Farm Fishery also boasts a Caravan Park that opened its doors in March 2017. This park welcomes members of the Caravan and Motorhome Club, providing them with the opportunity to enjoy not only fishing but also explore the local sights or even experience a day as a farmer with our pet animal collection. For an unforgettable stay, visitors can choose to rent our Cabin by the lake, perfect for accommodating three people, or opt for our static caravans that can comfortably sleep up to six.
Nestled in a quiet and peaceful forest, White House Farm Fishery offers a much-needed break from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. To ensure your comfort, we offer the convenience of having food delivered to the lakeside while you're fishing or the option to dine at our café. Our café serves a delectable array of meals and snacks, and for those who enjoy a refreshing drink, we also have a licensed bar that serves a range of bottled beers, cans, wines, soft drinks, teas, and coffees.
We understand the importance of creating a clean and safe environment for our fishermen. That's why we have implemented measures such as otter-proof fencing, refuse bins around the lakes, and dipping bins for nets. Our facilities include clean toilets and showers, disabled access, and electric hookups for caravans. It's important to us that every visitor feels comfortable and at ease during their time at White House Farm Fishery.
Our lakes are regularly restocked with a variety of fish species to provide an exciting and diverse fishing experience. From Tench and Perch to Crucians, Skimmer Bream, Carp, Roach, Bream, Rudd, Chub, and more, there's something for every angler to enjoy. We are proud to accommodate visitors with disabilities by providing specially designed swims, access to facilities, and assistance from our friendly staff.
Exciting news! Open matches will be available starting from April 24th and will occur every two weeks. These matches are open to anyone who wishes to participate and only cost £15.00 per person for the entire day. We encourage all fishing enthusiasts to come and join in the friendly competition.
For families looking to introduce their children to the joys of fishing, White House Farm Fishery also hosts a Children's Fishing Club. This club welcomes beginners and experienced children aged 12 and above. We provide all the necessary equipment and bait, and at the end of each two-hour session, a snack, and drink are offered to keep their energy levels up. We kindly request a donation of £2.00 per child to cover the cost of bait and refreshments. Pre-booking is required, and we also offer a ten-week course for just £20.00, with reduced rates for siblings.
It's important to note that children aged 12 and over are required to have a fishing license. Luckily, obtaining a license is a breeze as it can be downloaded for free online or obtained with assistance from our knowledgeable staff.
The Children's Fishing Club meets every Saturday from 11am to 1pm. We also welcome adults who are interested in instruction, so feel free to join in the fun!
