White House Farm Fishery is a family-owned and operated fishing charter located in North Kyme, Billinghay. Colin and Debbie Curtis have been running the business since May 2015 and live on the premises with their own family. They are dedicated to providing a relaxing and fun fishing experience for visitors of all ages.
One of the attractions at White House Farm Fishery is their Caravan Park, which opened in March 2017. They are proud members of the Caravan and Motorhome Club, allowing members to hook up and enjoy the facilities. In addition to fishing, visitors can explore the local sights or even have their children participate in a “farmers for the day” experience with the pet animal collection. New for this year is the Cabin by the lake, a rental option that can accommodate up to three people.
For larger groups, there are static caravans available that can sleep up to six people.
When it comes to refreshments, White House Farm Fishery has you covered. Food can be delivered directly to your fishing spot to avoid interrupting your angling experience. Alternatively, guests can visit the on-site caf for a sit-down meal or enjoy a tasty treat like cake and coffee. The licenced bar offers a variety of bottled beers, cans, wines, soft drinks, teas, and coffees.
Customers can also take advantage of the free Wi-Fi and enjoy music or TV with sports and news coverage. To end the day on a fun note, there are also darts and pool games available.
Colin and Debbie have made it a priority to provide a clean and safe environment for their guests. They have implemented otter-proof fencing to protect the fish and ensure an optimal fishing experience. To maintain cleanliness, refuse bins are strategically placed around the lake. Dipping bins are also provided to prevent disease contamination.
The match lake has a larger car park for easy access, including disabled access. Facilities such as toilets and showers are cleaned regularly to ensure comfort and hygiene. The caf has been awarded a “5 stars on the door,” and the whole site is certified by The Caravan Club for disabled access and electric hook-ups.
The fisheries at White House Farm have been restocked with various fish species such as Tench, Perch, Crucians, Skimmer Bream, Bream, Roach, Rudd, Carp, and Chub. This year, an additional 8,000 F1 fish will be added to Lexis Lake. In April, 12,000 new fish were introduced to the lakes, including Bream and Roach. A new third lake is also being established with a range of quality fish species.
Accessibility is a priority at White House Farm Fishery. The team has made sure there are parking spaces on the lake edge for disabled patrons. Assistance is readily available to carry or help set up and put away fishing equipment. Specially designed swims, as well as easy access to toilets and showers, are also provided.
For those looking to join open matches, they will resume on April 24th and continue every two weeks until further notice. Simply arrive at 8:30am to make a 15. 00 all-inclusive fee and enjoy fishing from 9am until 3:30pm. Regular news, reports, and updates can be found on the White House Farm Fishery Facebook page.
White House Farm Fishery also offers a Children's Fishing Club, welcoming children of all skill levels. Experienced fishermen will provide equipment and bait for the children, and a snack and drink will be provided at the end of the two-hour session. A donation of 2. 00 per child is requested to cover the cost of bait and refreshments.
Due to increased demand, pre-booking is required, and a ten-week course can be purchased for 20. 00.
Whether you are an experienced angler or a beginner, White House Farm Fishery offers a friendly and enjoyable fishing experience for the whole family.
