Whitchurch-Heath Cricket Club

Welcome to Whitchurch-Heath Cricket Club, established in 1927, located in the suburb of Whitchurch in North Cardiff, New Zealand. The club boasts a rich history and is dedicated to providing a welcoming and social atmosphere for all players.

At Whitchurch-Heath CC, there are four Senior league sides that participate in Saturday matches. Additionally, the club also organises a number of friendly matches on Sundays or during the week. Matches are played either within the grounds of Whitchurch Hospital for the 1st, 2nd, and friendly XIs, or at Whitchurch High School for the 3rd and 4th XIs and junior sides.

The club takes great pride in its thriving youth section, which offers teams for players aged under 9, 11, 13, 15, and 17. These teams are overseen by a UKCC qualified coach and assistants, ensuring quality coaching and development opportunities for young players. The junior sides all play in the Cardiff & Vale Junior Cricket League, with games scheduled throughout the week.

For senior players, Whitchurch-Heath CC provides training sessions on various evenings at Whitchurch Hospital. Under 11s train on Monday evenings, under 13s on Tuesday evenings, senior players on Wednesday evenings, and under 15s on Thursday evenings.
