One unique feature of the Whitby Lawn Bowling Club is the option for substitute players in interclub tournaments. This allows players, particularly seniors, to continue participating in tournaments without having to play three full games. Interested players can register their substitute player with Gary Ros, the tournament coordinator.

The club hosts a variety of interclub tournaments sponsored by local businesses, providing opportunities for friendly competition and networking. From mixed triples to pairs and singles matches, there is a tournament for everyone to enjoy.
