The Whitby Lawn Bowling Club is excited to announce 4 upcoming in-house tournaments for 2024. These tournaments kick off in the morning, so make sure to arrive early to get in on the action. Players are kindly asked to come dressed in white attire, unless specified otherwise. Bowlers of all levels are welcome to participate, so whether you're a seasoned pro or just starting out, join the fun at the club. Keep an eye out for the sign-up sheet available a week or two before each tournament for players to secure their spots. Teams will be formed on the day of the tournament, adding an element of surprise and excitement to the games. The competitions on offer include the 4-3-2-1 tournament, Ladies & Men's Pairs, Canada Day Open Triples, Novice Singles, and more. Each event has its own sponsor, contributing to a lively atmosphere. Depending on the tournament, food options range from BBQs to catered meals or the option to bring your own lunch. Make sure to mark your calendar and get ready to showcase your bowling skills while enjoying a day of friendly competition and camaraderie at the club.
