West Wilts Youth Sailing Association

The West Wilts Youth Sailing Association is a charitable trust located at a beautiful lake in Westbury, Wiltshire. Our main goal is to introduce young people between the ages of 8 and 18 to the exciting sport of sailing.

With a humble beginning in 1967, the association started with just three boats and a dedicated group of volunteers. Over the past four decades, we have grown significantly and now boast an impressive fleet of 19 boats, two safety boats, and a team of RYA qualified instructors. This enables us to offer sailing tuition to approximately 100 children each week throughout our season.

As a self-financing organisation, we are entirely run by volunteers who are passionate about sailing and committed to fostering a love for the sport among young people. Our dedication to excellence has earned us recognition as a Royal Yachting Association teaching centre.
