Located in the picturesque village of Bleadon, just a short 10-minute drive from Weston-s-Mare, this club offers a delightful setting for croquet enthusiasts. As a proud member of the Croquet Association, the club prides itself on providing a welcoming and friendly environment for players of all levels.
The club boasts six small lawns that are available for play seven days a week, starting from 10am until dusk. These smaller lawns can be converted into three full-size lawns for league matches and competitions. With one team competing in Association Croquet leagues and four teams in Golf Croquet leagues, there are ample opportunities for members to test their skills against other players.
While league competitions are an important aspect of the club, Weston-super-Mare Croquet Club also places great emphasis on the social side of the sport. The club has a vibrant and energetic mixed membership who thoroughly enjoy and actively participate in the social events organised by the club. It is this sense of camaraderie and community that sets the club apart.
New members are always warmly welcomed at Weston-super-Mare Croquet Club, regardless of their abilities or age. All equipment needed for croquet is available for use by club members free of charge, except footwear. Please remember to wear flat-soled shoes during play.
