Weston Sub Aqua Club, run by Matt, is your go-to SCUBA diving hub in Weston-super-Mare, UK. Founded in 1972 and known as BSAC Club 0512, they meet every Wednesday at the Borough Arms, Locking Rd, BS22 8PD from 20:30.

Join Matt and crew, and you’ll get access to top-notch diving gear, including a fully equipped RIB. Need clean air or nitrox? They've got a compressor and O2 blending setup. For training or gear checks, there's a local pool to practice your skills.

While diving is the main game, Matt makes sure there's a vibrant social scene too. Expect regular events to hang out, swap stories, and share your love for the sport. New divers from any agency, and visitors are always welcome.

Diving with Weston SAC means regular dives, from quick quarry dips to holiday adventures. Matt organises trips to spots like Plymouth and Lyme Regis using their RIB and charter boats—plus an international trip every other year.

They focus on open circuit recreational diving, from 10 to 30 metres. Whether you’re new or seasoned, there’s something for everyone. Members benefit from subsidised air and nitrox fills, with access to a range of equipment.

Matt and the club are open to divers from SAA, PADI, NAUI, SSI, and other agencies. They respect your current qualifications and can help you further your training if you want, or you can just dive right in with what you’ve got.

Need more training? They run in-house courses for Nitrox, Boat Handling, Oxygen Therapy, and Rescue Skills. They're all about helping you upskill and earn new certifications.
