

Wendy Cohen Yoga is a welcoming and serene Yoga studio located in Ingatestone, Essex. Owned and operated by Wendy Cohen, a passionate Yoga teacher, interior designer, vegetarian cook, and mother of three, this studio offers a unique and holistic approach to Yoga practise.
Wendy has been practising Yoga since 2001 and started her teaching journey in 2010. With extensive experience and knowledge, she has developed her own method that focuses on soothing the nervous system and achieving deep states of relaxation through a combination of mobilisation, gentle movement, Yoga Nidra (guided relaxation), and Restorative Yoga.
The studio offers a variety of classes, including group classes, recorded classes, workshops, and now, new for 2023, 30-minute Strength classes hosted via Zoom. These classes are designed to provide a time and space for individuals to gently move, stretch, and relax, allowing them to feel rejuvenated and refreshed without depletion. Wendy's classes are the perfect complement to more intense workout regimes and the stress of everyday life.
Yoga Nidra is a speciality at Wendy Cohen Yoga. This practise, often referred to as “guided relaxation,” helps individuals enter a state of open awareness and dreamless sleep, providing deep rest for both the body and mind. Private Yoga Nidra sessions are available and can be tailored to individual needs, with recorded sessions provided for long-term use.
