Chris Molyneux here, Chris wanted to share some exciting info about the Welwyn Garden City Cricket Club! 🎉
Nestled right off Knightsfield, the club's part of the Digswell Park Sports Association here in the UK. Over the recent seasons, the club's been smashing it ⚡ with promotions topping the charts in the highest level of club cricket. They've got five Saturday teams, with the First XI featuring in the prestigious Saracens Hertfordshire Premier League. 🏏
The other teams play across various divisions of the Saracens Hertfordshire Cricket League and compete in numerous cup competitions. The juniors, led by Sam Rizvi, have had a massive growth spurt over the past five years. 🏆 From under 9s to under 17s, they’ve got it covered in the Hertfordshire Junior Leagues. Plus, there's a buzzing Girls' section, so everyone gets a chance to hit those sixes! 💪
