Just a stone's throw from Exeter Airport, Wellbeck is super easy to get to. It’s not just an equestrian centre; they also run a whole farm operation. In winter, they even deliver hay and haylage to local stables, helping out horse owners and nearby farms.
Need a place to stay? Wellbeck’s got a small campsite open all year. It can fit up to five caravans or motorhomes, plus tents for up to 28 days. You’ll get grass and hardstanding pitches, fresh water on tap, and toilets right in the main barn. No electric hook-up, but they’ll help you charge your batteries if you need it. With a bus stop right outside, you can easily check out Exeter, Exmouth, and the Jurassic Coast.
When it comes to dressage, Malcolm, Nettie, their son James, and a rock-solid team run the show. They shifted to focus only on dressage back in 2005 and haven’t looked back. Riders from all over the region come here for the competitions and training.
