The weekend club shoots at Troy Adams Archery Field in Werrington are an exciting and enjoyable event for archery enthusiasts. Whether you're a seasoned competitor or just starting out, this club is the perfect place to enhance your archery skills in a friendly and supportive environment.
Taking place on both Saturdays and Sundays (excluding tournament days), the club-level shooting kicks off in the morning at am and continues throughout the morning. It's a fantastic opportunity for archers to both practice and compete, with scoring beginning at am. Each day, the same round is shot, allowing archers to complete at least one round over the course of the weekend.
In addition to the regular weekend shoots, the club also hosts Club Championship rounds throughout the year. In 2022, we have scheduled four rounds on January 22, May 30, September 27, and November 22. These rounds can be shot on either Saturday or Sunday. However, please note that only the first round shot on Saturday will count towards an archer's championship score.
To ensure the smooth running of the event, participants are encouraged to arrive a little early and lend a helping hand in setting up the targets and timing equipment. Additionally, assistance in packing up the field after the shoot is greatly appreciated.
