Archery Lessons For Beginners is a fantastic opportunity for those interested in learning the art of shooting a bow and arrow. Troy Adams Archery Field, the renowned Archery club in Werrington, is offering a three-week program to cater to beginners.
The course consists of three consecutive weekly sessions, each lasting for 120 minutes. During these sessions, participants will receive proper instruction and engage in self-paced practice. Our experienced instructors will guide them through developing good habits, solid archery form, and familiarity with range commands. Safety is paramount, and participants will also learn how to handle equipment properly.
Don't fret if you don't own any archery gear! We provide all the necessary equipment, though you are welcome to bring your own if you prefer. Our instructors are more than happy to offer expert advice on purchasing the right equipment tailored to your needs.
To participate in this exciting beginners course, the cost is $135 per person. Sessions take place on either Saturday or Sunday mornings. It is essential to arrive on time, and bookings must be made in advance to secure your spot.
Our Archery Field is located at Lot 31 Werrington Rd, Werrington NSW 2747. To access the field, please enter via Colonial Golf course and remember to adhere to the 10 km/hr speed limit for everyone's safety.
For your own comfort and safety, we recommend tying back your hair, wearing enclosed footwear, and avoiding loose garments during the sessions. To stay hydrated and protected from the sun, bring a water bottle and sun protection.
Rest assured that we have implemented a CovidSafe Plan to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for all participants. We kindly ask that if you have any symptoms of Covid-19, or even a common cold or flu, please refrain from attending the sessions. We want to prioritise the health and well-being of everyone involved.
If the provided session dates do not work for you, we are more than willing to arrange alternate dates to accommodate your schedule. However, please note that attending a Come & Try Archery session before starting the beginners course is a prerequisite.
For our club members, we offer additional coaching sessions on Saturdays from 8-9 am. These sessions focus on refining shooting technique and gear setup, providing valuable support to enhance your archery skills.
