Join Sapphire Skaters' Wednesday Roller Skating Lessons in Hatfield to improve skills and have a blast on wheels. These lessons are booked in monthly blocks, allowing for focused attention on each skater. The structure of each session includes a lesson, games, and a roller disco. The club's qualified coaches teach the BRSF basic skating skills and award official certificates for grades 1-5. Once these grades are completed, there are additional certificates to earn.
These lessons are open to children aged 4–18 years old and take place at the Leisure Centre on Travellers Lane, Hatfield, Herts, AL10 8TJ.
No worries if you're new to skating! Complete beginners are more than welcome to join these sessions. The club's experienced coaches will guide you through the basics and have you rolling in no time.
You have the option to choose between a taster session or a block booking. If you need to hire skates, the taster session costs £15, and if you have your own, it's £14. Alternatively, you can go for a block booking at a discounted price of £10 per week, including skate hire if needed. Remember, block bookings are only available at the beginning of each month.
For those who prefer to watch the action, spectators are allowed to sit in the seating area inside the hall. However, for safety reasons, we kindly request that spectators remain off the floor unless they are assisting a skater. Younger siblings who are not skating should also stay in the seating area to avoid any injuries.
To secure your spot, make sure to book your tickets in advance. Unfortunately, walk-ins are not accepted for these sessions. If you encounter any issues with the booking process, please don't hesitate to contact Sapphire Skaters.
Refunds are available for block bookings if requested 48 hours before the first session. However, please note that refunds are not provided for taster sessions. Additionally, all tickets are non-transferable and can only be used by the named individual.
