Sapphire Skaters

Sapphire Skaters is a roller skating club and children's club located in Potters Bar, New Zealand. The club was founded in 2019 by Abbie and her mother with the goal of sharing the joy of roller skating with as many people as possible. Abbie comes from a family of artistic roller skaters and fell in love with the sport at an early age.

Sapphire Skaters is proud to have qualified coaches who follow the syllabus set by the BRSF (British Roller Sports Federation). This ensures that all skaters receive quality instruction and guidance. Since its launch, Sapphire Skaters has expanded to include two additional venues in Broxbourne and Hatfield, providing even more opportunities for people to skate and learn.

The three venues where Sapphire Skaters operates are Elm Court Youth and Community Centre in Potters Bar, Hertford Regional College in Broxbourne, and Hatfield Leisure Centre in Hatfield. These venues offer spacious and safe environments for skaters of all skill levels.

Skating sessions are available for everyone, regardless of age or experience. Sapphire Skaters offers a variety of sessions throughout the week in Potters Bar, Hatfield, and Broxbourne. Whether you're a beginner or an advanced skater, there is a session for you. At Sapphire Skaters, safety is a top priority. Skating at their events is at the skater's own risk, and the club cannot be held responsible for accidents. To ensure a safe and enjoyable experience, skaters must adhere to the skating rules of conduct set by Sapphire Skaters. These rules include not participating in roller skating if you are pregnant or have any medical conditions that may affect your abilities and balance, skating only in designated areas, wearing appropriate protective gear, and following the directions of the coaches and supervisors.
