Waiheke Golf Club, established in 1973, is situated on the stunning Waiheke Island in Auckland. Starting with just 9 holes, the course has grown to 11, with the option to play 18 using different tees. There are longer (blue/red) and shorter (yellow/white) layouts suitable for all skill levels, and green tees designed for beginners, keeping them clear of major hazards.
With mature, tree-lined fairways and breathtaking water views, Waiheke Golf Club offers an exceptional golfing experience. The club has a booking system for tee times, and larger groups should call or email in advance.
The club boasts men’s and women’s course records held by Michael Hood (67) and Rachel Salisbury (74) respectively. Weather permitting, the course is open every day of the year.
Under the leadership of Club President James Tinnion-Morgan, Vice President Wayne McIntosh, and Treasurer Kevin Kite, the club's officers and committee ensure smooth operations. Waiheke Golf Club is committed to sustainability, investing in electric mowers and being the first in New Zealand to do so with assistance from an EECA instant rebate.
Waiheke Golf Club, with its welcoming environment and beautiful setting, is the perfect spot for both seasoned golfers and newcomers to enjoy a round.
