“The Breathing Space” Gym is a serene haven located on the beautiful Waiheke Island in the Hauraki Gulf, just 35 minutes away from Auckland, New Zealand. This gym provides individuals with an opportunity to relax and develop a deep connexion with their body, breath, mind, and spirit.
Originally established as the island's Yoga studio, “The Breathing Space” has now transformed into Waiheke's Yoga community web resource. A collective of experienced teachers offer a wide range of classes, rooted in various traditions, at different locations across the island. Whether you're a beginner or an experienced yogi, there's a class suitable for everyone at “The Breathing Space.
Robyn Barrie is one of the dedicated instructors at “The Breathing Space. ” She specialises in Hatha Yoga and received her training at Ashram Yoga in Auckland. Ashram Yoga's unique teaching style is based on Paramahamsa Satyananda's innovative and progressive system, combined with the extensive expertise of their senior instructors. Robyn conducts her classes at the picturesque Palm Beach Hall on Waiheke Island.
The gym offers multiple class options throughout the week. On Mondays, classes are held from 9 am to 10 am, starting from January 10, 2022. Wednesdays feature classes from 9 am to 10:30 am, commencing on January 12, 2022. Thursdays also offer a morning class from 9 am to 10 am, beginning on January 13, 2022.
Please note that under alert level Red, a Vaccine Pass is required for entry to the gym. The Palm Beach Hall, located on Palm Beach Road, serves as the venue for these classes.
