Peter, the organiser, is usually busy on the green!
The Wadebridge Bowling Club season runs from April to September, with weekly Club Nights throughout this period. Club Nights offer members the chance to socialise, practise their skills, and enjoy friendly matches. Peter also arranges regular matches against other clubs, providing a chance for competitive play outside league games.
In 2023, Peter introduced an exciting new format called Bowls Bash, developed by Bowls England. Bowls Bash is a quick, informal game with more scoring opportunities, perfect for those seeking a fast-paced and fun experience. Though bookings for Bowls Bash are currently closed, you can visit the Bowls Bash website for information and updates on future sessions.
The club is supported by a dedicated team of officers, including the President, Vice President, Secretary, Treasurer, Fixture Secretary, Press Officer, and Bar Steward. Their hard work ensures the club runs smoothly, creating a friendly and welcoming atmosphere at Wadebridge Bowling Club.
Situated at The Playing Fields on Egloshayle Road in Wadebridge, Cornwall, the club offers a picturesque setting for bowlers. The green is well-maintained, providing a level playing field for all ages and skill levels. Bowls is a sport that fosters equal competition, bringing together people of different ages and abilities in a fair and inclusive environment.
