At Victoria's Dance Studio, the focus is on two key programmes: Melody Movement classes for pre-school children and Royal Academy of Dance (RAD) ballet classes for primary school children. These classes are designed to introduce young dancers to the joy of movement and music, while also building a strong foundation in technique and discipline.
The studio itself is fully equipped to enhance the learning experience. With a specially designed sprung floor, ballet barres, and floor-to-ceiling mirrors, students have the perfect environment to learn and grow in their dance practise. There is also a changing room and waiting area for parents, where they can relax, enjoy a cup of tea, and observe their child's progress through the glass doors.
To ensure individual attention and personalised instruction, class sizes are kept small, with a maximum of 12 children per class. This allows each child to receive the necessary guidance and support from our highly qualified dance teacher, Victoria Richards. With qualifications from the RAD and ISTD, Victoria brings over twenty years of experience teaching ballet, tap, and modern dance to students of all ages and abilities.
