Welcome to the Victoria Polo Club, nestled in the picturesque Brentwood Bay area of Vancouver Island. Established in 1982, our club is a fusion of the Victoria Polo Club and the Vancouver Island Polo Club, and we proudly continue the legacy of polo on the island. The Victoria Polo Club is a vibrant community of individuals of all ages who share a passion for the thrilling sport of polo.

Polo is a sport that combines the elegance of horseback riding with the competitive spirit of a team sport. It is an adrenaline-pumping experience that challenges both horse and rider, while also offering a social and enjoyable atmosphere for friends and family. Whether you are a seasoned equestrian or a novice to the sport, polo is sure to captivate your heart and leave you with a smile.

If you are new to the sport, fear not! The Victoria Polo Club offers introductory arena polo for riders of all skill levels, including complete beginners. Our enclosed arena provides a safe and comfortable environment for learning, with smaller teams, simplified rules, and a focus on rider safety. Whether you bring your own horse or ride one of our trained polo ponies, introductory polo is a fantastic way to dive into the world of polo.

In an effort to welcome new riders and horses to the sport, we host beginner slow and coached games every Sunday morning, as well as stick and ball practice sessions every Tuesday. These sessions are open to all who are interested, and we also have closed practices throughout the week for our members. If our scheduled days do not work for you, do not hesitate to reach out, as we are happy to accommodate different schedules.
