Sensei David Bentley, the Chief Instructor of Kimura Shukokai Karate Canada West, brings over 36 years of experience in teaching and practicing the Shukokai style. Holding a 7th Dan Black Belt, Sensei Bentley believes in the holistic development of students, focusing not only on self-defence techniques but also on building character, confidence, and physical fitness. With a background in Judo and a successful competitive career representing both England and Canada, Sensei Bentley is a certified NCCP coach and instructor, fit4defense instructor, and holds a certification in Sports Psychology.
