Dean is the proud founder of Vermelho BJJ on the Sunshine Coast in Yandina, Australia. The school's name, “Vermelho,” is Portuguese for “red,” which is a reference to Dean's distinctive red hair. It has become a playful nickname that embodies his relaxed and friendly attitude towards training.
As the head instructor, Dean brings his exceptional knowledge and skills to each class. He is dedicated to helping his students develop their abilities and reach their full potential. Whether you are a beginner or an experienced practitioner, Dean's coaching style focuses on both technique and mindset.
