Welcome to the Valerie Heston School of Dance, a leading dance studio located in Bibra Lake, in the City of Cockburn, Western Australia. Since 1954, we have been dedicated to providing everyone the opportunity to learn to dance. Whether you are looking to pursue a career in dance or just learn a fun and social skill, we are the studio for you.
At our dance school, we believe in nurturing our students to become well-rounded individuals. Along with developing dance skills, we aim to instil values such as discipline, self-confidence, teamwork, and a love for the arts. Our studio offers a variety of dance classes for students of all ages and abilities. We teach various styles including ballet, tap, jazz, contemporary, musical theatre, stretch and conditioning, and hip hop. Whether you are a beginner or an advanced dancer, our experienced teachers will help you develop your skills and reach your full potential.
For children and young students, our classes are designed to be fun and engaging while also providing a solid foundation in the basics of dance. We offer classes for dancers as young as 2 years old (or 18 months if they are early developers) in our toddlers class. We also have junior and senior dance classes for ages 2 to adults.
In addition to our regular classes, we offer opportunities for our students to perform in annual recitals, competitions, and community events in the Perth area. These experiences are a great way for students to showcase their skills and gain confidence in their abilities.
Our dance studio is equipped with state-of-the-art facilities including a sprung floor, full-length mirrors, and a sound system, to provide the perfect environment for students to learn and grow in Perth. We also have air conditioning to ensure comfort all year round.
