Unity Aikido Association Broken Hill, the local Aikido club in Broken Hill, is excited to promote an upcoming Aikido event that will surely interest all the Aikido enthusiasts out there.
Aikido, a style of Japanese Martial Way, has its roots in the teachings of the esteemed Master Professor Kenji Tomiki, the founder of the Japan Aikido Association. Under the expert guidance of Hanifa Leoni Macfarlane Sensei, a 7th Dan Unity Aikido and 8th Dan Japan Aikido Assoc, Unity Aikido offers a wide range of classes suitable for adults, teens, and older kids in Hobart, Tasmania, and of course, Broken Hill, NSW.
In Hobart, the classes take place at the Hobart Buckingham Bowls Club in New Town. Adults and older children can attend on Tuesdays from 6pm to 8pm, as well as on Saturdays from 10.30am to 12.30pm. The classes are designed to provide a unique blend of self-defence training, sportsmanship, artistic expression, and fitness sessions. If you're interested in attending these classes, they are led by the skilled Sensei James Carolan, a 4th Dan Aikidoka.
For our fellow Aikido enthusiasts in Broken Hill, we encourage you to get in touch with Sensei Hanifa Macfarlane to inquire about class times, fees, and other pertinent details. At Unity Aikido Association Broken Hill, we strive to provide affordable and accessible training. The class fees are just $20 per class, ensuring everyone can experience the benefits of Aikido.
In addition to the class fees, we require all students to become members of UAAInc. This membership is mandatory to ensure insurance cover for all participants. The annual membership fees are $75 for adults, $35 for kids, and only $15 for the second family member. We believe in the importance of safety and providing a supportive environment for all practitioners.
So mark your calendars and join us at this incredible Aikido event! Whether you're a seasoned Aikidoka or a curious beginner, Unity Aikido Association Broken Hill welcomes one and all. Let's come together to deepen our understanding of this beautiful martial art and cultivate a sense of unity within the Aikido community.
