Ultimate Boxing – Muay Thai Boxing is a renowned martial arts school located in Congleton, Cheshire. Led by former Super Middleweight Champion Rob Griffiths and Middleweight Champion James Young, the school prides itself on providing high-quality training for individuals of all skill levels. The gym is fully equipped with heavy bags, Thai Pads, and a full-size boxing ring, ensuring that students have access to the best training facilities for their practise. The Muay Thai training sessions and classes are tailored to cater to different age groups and abilities, with programmes specially designed for kids, adults, and fighters. Men and women are equally welcome to join and embrace the art of Muay Thai.
For children aged 7 to 11, there is a Kids self-defence class held on Fridays from 6pm to 7pm. This class focuses on building confidence by teaching defence skills in a friendly and playful environment. It is especially beneficial for children who may be struggling with bullying or want to boost their confidence levels.
On Friday nights from 7pm to 9pm, there is a Muay Thai Technique & Fighters Class for individuals aged 12 and above. This class is perfect for those who have the aspiration to venture into the fighting world of Thai Boxing. With hard training, power work, and constant sparring, students receive championship level training from former champions themselves.
The membership and cost of training at Ultimate Boxing are affordable, with adult classes priced at 5 per session and children's defence classes at 3 per session. The school operates as a “NOT FOR PROFIT” organisation, where all subscription fees are reinvested into the club for rent and equipment.
