Here’s a quick update from the heart of our sports community.
David, the organiser of UKTC Taekwondo, wants to share what’s happening at the school in Dalkeith. UKTC Taekwondo is dedicated to offering Taekwondo training for all ages – children, teenagers, and adults. Taekwondo isn’t just about self-defence; it’s a journey that can improve fitness, health, and personal growth.
David's focus has always been on core values: courtesy, integrity, perseverance, self-control, and indomitable spirit. These are woven into every session, helping students grow stronger and more confident.
The school has classes for different age groups. The Little Tiger Cubs programme is perfect for children aged 3 to 5 years old, giving them a fun start in martial arts. For those aged 5 to 8, the Active Tigers programme is an exciting next step. And for everyone aged 9 and above, including adults, there are classes suited to all skill levels.
UKTC Taekwondo also runs a Black Belt Programme, pushing students to reach the coveted black belt status. They organise special events like Taekwondo parties, making birthdays extra special.
There’s also an official shop stocking all the necessary gear for Little Tiger Cubs, Active Tigers, and regular Taekwondo activities. It’s the go-to place for all UKTC students to get high-quality equipment.
David is backed by a dedicated team of instructors who are passionate about teaching and helping students reach their full potential in a safe, supportive environment. As a non-profit organisation, they are truly committed to promoting Taekwondo across the UK.
If you're curious about starting your Taekwondo journey or simply want more information, David invites you to book a free trial lesson at one of the 600 local clubs. You can also stay connected through their Facebook, Twitter, and YouTube pages for the latest updates and news.
Cheers,
The UKTC Taekwondo Team
