Welcome to Tyneside Gymnastics Club, located in Whitley Bay, New Zealand. The club's ethos is centred around providing a child-focused environment where the achievements of EVERY individual are valued and celebrated. With a commitment to personalised training, Tyneside Gymnastics Club aims to help each gymnast improve in their areas of strength and areas they wish to develop.

Tyneside Gymnastics Club offers a wide range of classes to cater to different interests and abilities. These include 4 Piece/Artistic, Team Gym, Boys, Beginners/Recreational Gymnastics, Cheerleading, Pre-School, and Stay & Play. Please note that there are currently waiting lists for Beginners/Recreational Gymnastics and Cheerleading, which are managed through our Class4Kids platform. Tyneside Gymnastics Club was founded in 2010 and is currently based in New Hartley, Seaton Deleval. As a “sport for all” club, we offer gymnastics opportunities for all ages and abilities, fostering a culture of excellence and providing equal opportunities for everyone to achieve. Our club is a registered CASC (Community Amateur Sports Club) organisation and operates on a non-profit basis. We are proud to be affiliated with British Gymnastics (BG) and the North of England Gymnastics Association (NEGA).

From humble beginnings as a beginners' class training for one hour per week, the club has grown to include various disciplines, with some gymnasts training for up to 16 hours per week. Despite our relatively short time in the competitive arena, we have amassed hundreds of medals and trophies. At Tyneside Gymnastics Club, we prioritise individualised training based on each gymnast's strengths and areas for improvement. Our commitment to safety and child-friendly practises is reflected in our GymMark accreditation by British Gymnastics and the Sport England Club Mark.
