Join Twist & Bliss Yoga, a welcoming yoga studio in Davidson's Mains, Edinburgh, led by the experienced and compassionate Roxanna. She provides Vinyasa Flow Yoga classes perfect for both beginners and intermediate students.

At Twist & Bliss Yoga, Roxanna dispels the myth that flexibility is required to start yoga. She believes in balancing body and mind through breath and mindful movement, promoting self-acceptance and encouraging everyone to embrace their unique selves daily.

Classes are held on Mondays and Wednesdays at 7:00 pm at Turtledove Play Café (Corbiehill Road) and a Friday morning session at 9:20 am at Waterfront Dance Studio (Main Street). These times are chosen to fit various schedules, making yoga accessible to many.

Vinyasa Flow Yoga, Roxanna’s speciality, combines physical challenges with moving meditation. Starting with breathwork and gentle warm-ups, participants progress to more demanding flows, synchronising breath with movement. Beginners and those with specific needs will find modifications available, concluding with relaxation and deep rest.

Regularly attending Roxanna’s classes helps build strength, balance, and stamina, alongside mindfulness and body awareness. Expect to be challenged, energised, and centred by the end of each session.

Participants don’t need to be flexible to join but should have a reasonable fitness level, being able to walk briskly for a mile and manage stairs easily.

Roxanna’s teaching method includes repeating sequences for 2-3 weeks, enhancing understanding and confidence. She offers advanced pose options, allowing students to choose their comfort level with straightforward guidance.

For the best progression, Roxanna recommends booking classes in blocks, although single classes are also available. Missed classes within a block can be made up, subject to availability and within the same term.
