Founded by Tanya, True North Yoga has been a pillar in the local community since its establishment in 2017. Tanya's passion for health and wellness, combined with her dedicated yoga practise, led her to create a space that combines ancient authentic yoga practises with modern teachings. With over 14 years of experience in the health and wellness sector, Tanya has completed over 875 hours of certified Yoga Teacher Training, including specialised courses in Pre-Post Natal Yoga, Yoga Nidra, Restorative Yoga, Yoga Psychology & Meditation, and intensive study in India.

The True North Yoga community is a constant source of inspiration for Tanya, and she is grateful to share her knowledge and expertise with her students. The studio itself is a beautiful, purpose-designed space that provides a serene and peaceful environment for practise. Additionally, True North Yoga offers in-studio classes that are also livestreamed, allowing practitioners to join in from anywhere in the world. The studio also boasts an extensive online library, giving students the flexibility to practise at their own convenience.

Aside from Tanya, the studio is also home to Kate, a passionate and dedicated yoga teacher. Kate's journey with yoga began in 2017 when she discovered the transformative power of the practise while working in Banff, Canada. Since then, Kate has immersed herself in various yoga styles, including yin yoga, vinyasa flow, and ashtanga yoga. This deep exploration led her to pursue her 200-hour Yoga Teacher Training in Adelaide, as well as specialised training in Yin Yoga.

Together, Tanya and Kate create a warm and supportive atmosphere at True North Yoga, offering a diverse range of classes and workshops to cater to the unique needs and goals of each individual.
