Spinal Chord is excited to announce a 5-week block of trapeze and aerial acrobatics classes for children and youth in Glasgow. Starting on April 21st and April 24th, 2024, these classes provide a chance to learn exciting tricks on aerial equipment and even show them off during our performances.
Open to ages 6 to 15, the classes will focus on teaching skills related to trapeze, rope, silks, and other aerial equipment, as well as basic circus skills. Our goal is to boost daringness and self-confidence while enhancing strength and coordination in a safe, energetic atmosphere.
If you're worried about schedule conflicts, fret not! You can reschedule sessions with a 3-day notice and switch between Wednesday evenings at 6 pm and Sunday mornings at 11.30 am. Safety is our top priority, with measures in place such as low heights, one-on-one supervision, safety mats, and public liability insurance to keep everyone protected.
Our training space at The Firhill Complex features a gym hardwood floor and is well-heated for comfort during the colder months. Our certified instructors have undergone Disclosure Scotland background checks and our company is covered by a 5 million PL insurance policy.
For attire, we recommend comfy, layered clothing that is snug, along with socks and leggings. Skirts or shorts can be worn over leggings if preferred. Please ensure all booked sessions within the block are attended.
