Located in Dereham, Norfolk, Traditional Shotokan Karate Ryu (TSKR) HQ is a renowned martial arts school and Karate club dedicated to providing high-quality tuition. Since its formation in 2006, TSKR has been committed to offering an authentic Karate experience, striving to deliver friendly service and exceptional martial arts training.
At TSKR, the teachings are led by Terry Wittkopp, a 6th Dan (Sensei) with over 30 years of experience in Karate and various other martial arts. Sensei Wittkopp is passionate about sharing his expertise and ensures that only the best instructors, who share the same dedication for Karate, are part of the teaching team.
TSKR proudly embraces a family-oriented approach, welcoming individuals from all backgrounds and abilities. Inclusive and supportive, the club prioritises a sense of belonging for everyone who walks through their doors. The Karate training at TSKR is suitable for all age groups, starting as young as 3 years old. Regardless of your fitness level or prior experience, TSKR's classes cater to individuals of varying abilities. The club and its instructors/officials are affiliated with the BMABA (British Martial Arts & Boxing Association) and hold full insurance coverage. Additionally, all instructors have undergone DBS checks and possess coaching skills tailored for both children and adults.
