Located just a short 20-minute drive from the heart of Auckland city, Titirangi Golf Club offers a truly unique and stunning golfing experience. The course was designed in 1927 by the renowned golf course architect Dr. Alister MacKenzie, who also created iconic courses such as Augusta, Cypress Point, and Royal Melbourne. It is the only MacKenzie-designed course in New Zealand.
Titirangi is one of the 14 “Marquee Courses” in New Zealand, selected for their exceptional quality, picturesque location, stunning scenery, architectural design, and appeal to discerning golfers. The course is beautifully sculpted out of a natural environment, with rolling fairways set amidst lush native New Zealand bush.
Renowned golf publications such as US Links magazine, US Golf Digest, Robb Report, and top100golfcourses all rate Titirangi as the best golf course in Auckland and one of the top seven in the entire country.
Visitors are welcome to experience the beauty and challenge of Titirangi Golf Club. However, it is advisable to make a booking in advance, especially for overseas guests. Certain times of the week, including Wednesdays and Saturdays before 1pm, are reserved for members only.

Titirangi Golf Club upholds a strict dress code to maintain the high standards expected from its members and guests. Whether playing, practising, or utilising the clubhouse facilities, golf attire and a high standard of dress are required. This includes wearing on-course tailored shorts, sports trousers or skirts, a golf or collared shirt or blouse, golf shoes and socks, and soft spike golf shoes preferably.
The club also offers excellent practise facilities, including a well-maintained practise green with bunkers and a short iron practise range. There is also a warm-up practise green located behind the first tee. It is important to note that during junior coaching or coaching clinics, these practise areas may be closed. Practise on the course is generally not permitted, except during certain circumstances such as evenings or when the course is not busy.
In those times, members may play a maximum of two balls, ensuring they do not interfere with other players.
Titirangi Golf Club places great importance on maintaining the course's top condition. To help in this effort, golfers are encouraged to repair pitch marks, replace divots, take a sand bucket to repair irreplaceable divots, and rake bunkers. Trundlers should be kept off tees and greens to minimise damage. Tips and guidelines on course care are provided to ensure all golfers can contribute to preserving the course's quality.
