Welcome to the Tinwald Golf Club, located in the picturesque suburb of Tinwald, Ashburton township, Mid-Canterbury, New Zealand. Established in 1967, our golf course is situated on reserve land adjacent to the Tinwald Domain. As one of two golf courses in the Ashburton township, and one of many throughout the Mid-Canterbury region, we pride ourselves on providing a top-quality golfing experience.

Our 18-hole course is predominantly flat and easy to walk, with tree-lined fairways and several waterways meandering throughout. These water hazards provide an added challenge for golfers to strategically navigate. We are proud to be affiliated with Aorangi Golf, ensuring a high standard of competition and events.

After a challenging game on the course, players can relax and unwind at our clubhouse bar and catering facilities. These amenities are available following the close of play on any official club day, and both members and visitors are welcome to enjoy a drink and some good company. Our friendly staff will ensure you feel right at home.

The Tinwald Golf Club is conveniently located on Frasers Road, Tinwald, Ashburton, approximately 1 kilometre west of State Highway 1. This central location makes it easily accessible for both locals and visitors alike.
