Time to Breathe Yoga is a serene and welcoming yoga studio located in Southampton, New Zealand. Founded by Lesley Charters, a dedicated practitioner with over 20 years of experience, the studio offers a wide range of yoga classes, workshops, 1:1 sessions, and retreats.
Lesley Charters began her yoga journey in 2000 and went on to complete a comprehensive 3-year yoga teacher training course with the esteemed Inner Yoga Trust in 2007. She has also trained to teach on the IYT teacher training courses and has worked closely with the Inner Yoga Trust for over 10 years. Her teaching style is heavily influenced by the teachings of the Inner Yoga Trust and the principles of Vanda Scaravelli.
In addition to her extensive yoga background, Lesley holds a degree in Chemistry and has over 20 years of experience as a Science and Chemistry teacher, specifically teaching A Level Chemistry. She is also a qualified Mountain Leader, having led Duke of Edinburgh's Award groups and participated in Mountain Leader Training courses conducted by Hampshire County Council. Lesley's love for outdoor activities is evident in her enjoyment of hiking in various locations, including the picturesque Lake District, Brecon Beacons, Dartmoor, and the Southdowns and New Forest areas.
