At Tilehurst Bowling Club, we believe in fostering a sense of community and camaraderie amongst our members. We host a variety of social events throughout the year, including Whist and Bingo nights. These events provide an opportunity for members to relax, have fun, and get to know one another off the green. Additionally, our clubhouse is open seven days a week from April to September, offering a welcoming atmosphere for members to gather, socialise, and enjoy refreshments from our well-stocked bar.

Tilehurst Bowling Club has a rich history dating back to November 1933 when 30 local residents came together to form the club. Initially starting with a wooden pavilion, the club grew over the years and eventually replaced the pavilion with a brick and tile clubhouse in 1984. In 2009, the clubhouse was extended as part of the club's 75th anniversary celebrations. The club is affiliated with Bowls England and RCBBA and is accepted into the membership of Berkshire CBA in 1934.
We pride ourselves on our excellent facilities, including a well-maintained green installed by Maxwell Hart at a cost of 500. Our clubhouse features a spacious seating and dining area, catering services, and a well-stocked bar. From April to September, the clubhouse is open seven days a week, and during the winter months, we host various social events to keep our members engaged and entertained.
