Gill wanted to share something special with the sports community. A while back, Gill approached Master Han to learn about what the group was practising. Master Han explained it was Tang Soo Do, a Korean martial art focused on self-defence and personal growth. Curious and inspired by what she saw, Gill decided to join.
Today, Tiger Gym – Tang Soo Do has flourished into a well-known martial arts club right here in Deal. The gym is run by a dedicated team of instructors, offering classes for all ages and skill levels. Classes are held weekly in spots around the UK like London, Warwickshire, and Kent. They're structured to include warm-ups, skill drills, forms practice, sparring, and self-defence techniques. The club's teachings follow Grandmaster Han Eung Kyo, a student of the Tang Soo Do originator, Grandmaster Hwang Kee.
