Tibs FC, based in Stockton-on-Tees, is a thriving not-for-profit football club nestled between Thornaby and Ingleby Barwick, opposite Teesside Industrial Estate. Founded in 1997, Tibs FC started with just one team but now boasts around 25 teams and about 250 players aged 6 to 17.
Led by around 60 dedicated volunteer coaches and an eight-member Management Committee, Tibs FC offers football for all abilities. Their excellent facilities include six pitches and a fully equipped clubhouse. Even the little ones, aged 3 to 6, can join the Micros Training, and there's a growing Girls Academy since the 2018/19 season.
To keep the club running, Tibs FC counts on parents’ subscriptions and encourages teams to fundraise and seek sponsorships for trips, tournaments, and gear. The club also partners with community organisations for financial and maintenance support.
